Why we build this
Crypto was supposed to remove the middleman. Instead, most on-ramps and off-ramps grew into gatekeepers: they collect your documents, your device fingerprints, your transaction history, and hold them indefinitely. For the simple act of turning digital assets into spendable cash, that's a steep and unnecessary price.
At the same time, in-person exchange is the oldest and most human form of trade. It's fast, it's transparent, and both sides know exactly what they're getting. What's been missing is a trustworthy layer on top: live market rates, verified merchants, a written agreement trail, and a way to hold each side accountable.
That's SwapSpur. We built it as the coordination layer — the map, the chat, the trade record, the deposit-backed guarantees — and nothing more. The less we know about you, the less there is to leak, sell, or subpoena. That's not a compromise in our product design; it's the product design.

Direct, ephemeral chat
Buyers and merchants agree on rate, amount and meeting point in an in-app chat that exists to coordinate the trade, not to build a marketing list.
Secured by deposits, not surveillance
Every merchant posts a security deposit that backs their trades end-to-end. Trust comes from skin in the game, not from collecting personal data.
